I’m so happy you are here to learn more about the Spring Retreat I’m holding in Red Hill over the first weekend in October 2023, Friday 6th - Sunday 8th.

Ultimately I want you to enjoy space away from your “everyday life” and feel relaxed and uplifted. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, you will be looked after.

Over these two days & two nights, move your body, rest and recharge, eat well, enjoy your own space and connect with others. This retreat is open to all from regular yogis to beginners.

We have exclusive use of the recently launched and highly acclaimed Red Hill venue The Cambium, which sits on 4 private acres and is bordered by 66 acres of the Endeavour Fern Gully Nature Reserve.

Finally of the highlights of going on retreat is that you don’t need to cook! A private chef will be in residence cooking delicious nourishing meals over the weekend.

the program

The retreat runs from Friday 6th October to Sunday 8th October, 2023.

Guest are free to arrive anytime between 5pm - 8pm on Friday 6th October. You may choose to settle in at The Cambium’s dining room for a light supper before retiring to your room, or even venture out to enjoy one of the great local restaurants or wineries (dinner off-site is not included in retreat package).

The retreat will ‘officially begin’ on Saturday morning with a 7.30am class!

The program has been designed to give you a good amount of movement, rest, time for reflection and quiet, as well as time for connection. The classes are optional:

  • Three hatha yoga classes each finishing with a lovely savasana (relax)

  • Two yin yoga class (long held passive floor poses, great for opening up the connective tissue)

  • One yoga nidra (guided relaxation)

  • Guided bush walk

  • Option to add on an afternoon (Friday or Sunday) at the highly acclaimed Alba Thermal Springs & Spa.

The retreat ends on Sunday afternoon at approximately 3pm.

The retreat will be held at The Cambium, in the heart of Red Hill on the Mornington Peninsula, just an hour’s drive from Melbourne. This is a special place which has only been open for 12 months after under going a complete transformation.

What sets this property apart is the superior level of design and comfort. The 10 private rooms all have stunning views across the green spaces, with a king/queen size bed, luxury linen, towels & bathrobe, heating and aircon, herbal teas and the all important ensuite.

Nature is an incredibly powerful antidote to stress, and here at The Cambium a green sanctuary awaits, with 4 private acres to relax in and explore. The property shares a border with the Endeavour State Forest, which is a stunning place to explore or simply to take in the towering gums.

the food

Food really is medicine and it’s great when it not only tastes delicious but is so nourishing for body & soul!

We are lucky to have our own private chef Philippa Joy, who cooks with local, organic and seasonal produce where possible. Every dish is prepared from scratch, with no processed foods.

Expect delicious plant based meals as well as the odd cake or slice. I have been on a retreat with Philippa and the food was an absolute highlight!

  • Friday night - 1 light dinner at The Cambium upon arrival
    or you if you prefer you may wish to make a booking at a local restaurant (at your own cost)

  • Saturday - 3 main meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) & afternoon tea

  • Sunday - 2 main meals (breakfast & lunch)
